BEFORE YOUR SESSION:
An invoice is due at time of booking. All DITR sessions are PRE-PAY to reserve your date/time. Your session time is not reserved until a confirmation email is received from DITR. All sales are final. Refunds will not be given for scheduling purposes. Once a session time is reserved and a confirmation is sent, refunds can not be given for a non-DITR cancelled session.
Please reply to your confirmation with your phone number for our records. This will help with any future weather cancellations. Should inclement weather occur, please check your email the day of your session for any schedule updates. Sessions that are rescheduled due to weather are not guaranteed to be able to reschedule to the same time or day of the week.
All sessions will take place in the Richmond/Ringwood/Spring Grove, IL area unless otherwise discussed during appointment booking.
All sessions are outdoor sessions unless a specific indoor location is agreed upon at booking. All sessions are weather permitting. No refunds will be given for sessions rescheduled due to weather. Should inclement weather occur, sessions will be rescheduled at everyone's earliest convenience.
Please notify Melissa of any cancellations at least 24 hours in advance. DITR is by appointment only, so notice of cancellation is GREATLY appreciated.
Sessions that are cancelled for non-DITR purposes within 24 hours of the session time will be rescheduled with a $50 fee
All sessions expire 12 months from the date of purchase UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED on your paid invoice.
Once a session expires, you lose the special, but not the dollar value. Your dollar value can be applied to another DITR session. Once a credit is applied to another session, it can not be re-applied after another expiration.
Multiple Lifetime sessions may not be used within 90 days of each other without consent from DITR
Multiple sessions or specials may not be used within 60 days of each other without consent from DITR
DURING YOUR SESSION:
Please NO CAMERAS (INCLUDING CELL PHONES) during your session.
Standard sessions are for up to 5 people from the same house hold unless otherwise noted on your paid invoice. Grandparents, In-laws, cousins, etc. can be added to the session for a fee or by upgrading to a large group session.
DITR reserves the right to cancel any session at any time if deemed necessary
Dogs are allowed in your session, however, we highly suggest bringing a “handler”. The reason for this, is that sometimes even good dogs can be distracting. With so many sessions that are 30 minutes and under, we prefer to only have dogs in the pictures when it is their time, then taken care of the remaining time by someone who can walk them, let them go to the bathroom, etc. without taking away from the pictures being taken. ALWAYS clean up after your pet, please.
DITR prides itself on being a family-friendly atmosphere and session experience. Children not being photographed are always welcome to attend sessions. With that said, please make sure children are under supervision at all times.
Please be respectful of all DITR props and materials. Though we understand that some look like (and might actually be) toys, many of these props are fragile and/or antique. Please refrain from letting children play with props while in session.
AFTER YOUR SESSION:
Images will be received via online gallery approximately 3-4 weeks from your session date. Factors such as holidays, workload, time of year, weather, etc. can affect this timetable in both positive and negative fashion. Please understand that DITR tries to get all sessions out in a timely manner. Sessions held between September and December may carry a return time closer to approximately 4-5 weeks.
While all images are edited in Photoshop, editing is a very time consuming process. Sessions requiring extensive editing for non-permanent deficiencies may be subject to a $50 fee.
Special packages including multiple sessions can NOT be combined to include more images in one session.
Once you receive your gallery, it is only active for 14 days. Once you place your order, the link to your download is only active for 7 days. If your download link expires after your order is placed, there is a $25 fee to retrieve your order from the DITR archives.
Some images may be used for use on the DITR Facebook page. The timetable in which posted, as well as number of pictures used for sneak peeks, etc. is done at the discretion of DITR. Not all sessions will be provided sneak peeks.
Images selected from each session will be at the discretion of DITR. DITR wishes to adhere to a certain style, consistency, and quality to make everyone involved happy. Sometimes it may take 100 shots to capture that one perfect moment, and for this reason, we do not allow you to receive every picture from your session.
